These were in the bucket over night. I just dumped the bits in a metal container and hoped they’d make a decent electrical connection. Seems to have worked pretty well. There are three bits next to each other in the middle that must’ve missed out on their share of the current. Everything got a coat of ospho as well.
The sleeve of rusty bits is there as an idea of what they looked like before. Some of those drill bits weren’t much more than a stick of rust. I’m a believer.
This afternoon I threw every rusty tool I wasn’t using in. We’ll see how they look tomorrow.
