They didn&#039;t mention it either way and the website just says &quot;Assisted GPS&quot; which could just be cell tower triangulation.

All that said it could be an amazing nav device for the boat.  The hands on videos look fast and it hardly draws any power. 

The ebook reader looks janky to me though.  All the faux book crap just looks gimmicky.  Don&#039;t think it&#039;ll be replacing many kindles.
