It took forever just to get to the inside of it.

Barometer’s reading 1011 here. Maybe most of that will go north of us.

Either this epoxy is getting to me or I picked up some swine flu.

That’s not me. I went for ostriches as a kid.

Epoxy problems

Spent about 2 hours trying to get what should’ve taken 15 minutes done. Had trouble with the pumps so we had to measure by hand and we had a hard time getting all of the bubbles out. I guess it’s just a bit too cold even though we’re using fast hardener. I have some lamps on the piece now so maybe that’ll get it to kick.

Cheap beer! Better than Busch though.

We’re ready to go. They have to launch one more boat before they pick us up.

Caught a break on our thru hull replacement.

We thought we would have to put one of our thru hulls back in this morning because the strap would block it but it look like we’ll have enough clearance. Good thing because the wood block that it mounts on is soaked.

Soaked.

It rained all night. Nasty foggy with 88% humidity in the boat this morning. Not good for fiberglass work. We covered the rudder with tarps but it’s pretty soaked on the surface. We’ll see if any water got inside. We’re supposed to go in the sling sometime around noon, eastern time. Pictures soon.

Lights are set up. Halfway through the second coat.

We have two types of paint for our last coats. Both are black but one is a bit better and has a slime inhibitor. That goes on the upper part of the bottom where we get more light and more growth.
