Chunk of our prop is missing

The water was so clear today that we could see a crescent shaped chunk missing from our prop. Couldn’t be better or worse timing. This explains why our engine violently shakes and possibly why the shaft seal leaks so much. New game plan for the day is to fix the prop!

Hoping to install the new head and repaired holding tank this evening. 22 gallons should get us by for a while, unless we develop a peeing disorder and have to go every hour. Ewwwww!

Safety first! Nitrile gloves and heavy duty (though not asbestos rated, I think) respirator.

Scrubbing the holding tank. A temp fix for the leaks is to lay a few sections of fiberglass and epoxy it.

Working on pulling up the head flooring

The previous owner glued the flooring down and we have no idea what is underneath. Possibly a bag of money or a few tanks. Either way, this will create a touch more headroom for Steven.
