What a day off!

I had a great day off, so far! Did the Happy Hour crawl at Kelly’s Hangar and Bobalu’s. Kelly’s is the actress Kelly from Top Gun. We hear that during Fantasy Fest it turns into a freaky SM club in the back room. Met a cool dude, Neil, and a dog, Big Woody, he’s trying to claim. Walked to Bobalu’s and ran into Joey. Remember, Joey from the party house in Cape Coral and the boatyard. He’s aboard the Conch Raider. Random just running into him here. He’s working as Captain aboard a charter ship. Treated myself to a pair of Kino sandals. They are hand made here in Key West. Totally awesome leather sandals. So comfy. It’s been a great day. Working again tomorrow at the Shelby Cobra for 12 hours then off on Sunday.

Just got hit by a quick squall while coming in for work. Soaked. Trying to dry off with hand dryers in the bathroom.
Drunkies rolled into Guy Harvey’s and ordered 17 Bud Lights and 17 Jagerbombs.

Met fellow New Orleanians who were on vacation in Key West.

Been hanging with James and Lindsay who are from NOLA. They trailered their boat down to vacation for the 4th. Caught the Cat Man show at Mallory Square and saw Frank’s Magic show at Schooner Wharf. They are making the 20 hour drive back to NOLA tonight but we’ll catch up with them the next time we’re home.
Turtle races at Turtle Kraals. Jen’s number 3 won.
