Six pack holders are great for organizing small items. No cardboard allowed should be the rule but I cleaned the holder before use (to get rid of roach eggs!) We have an electric and propane stove top and will add a toaster oven soon. Getting rid of the microwave. Takes up too much space and I can’t bake.

And the sanding has begun. This will be a long, ongoing project.

We have a fair amount of teak to sand and oil. We also have chunks missing that will need to be replaced.

Living on a canal, for now.

Long story short… We left the Ft. Myers Yacht Basin yesterday and motored up about 5 miles to a friend’s place on a canal. We aren’t being charged to dock and can continue to work on the boat. Hopefully we will only need to stay a few weeks. The water in the canal is so clear. We may even be able to assess the state of our rudder without having to haul out in Port Charlotte. Thanks, Arnold, Lisa & Corey!

Thinking of moving the boat to this canal.
