The West System people publish some really good articles and manuals at westsystem.com.  Their search is ok, but google is better.  Try copying this into google to browse through everything:

Radio Repair

One of our handheld radios hasn’t been transmitting. The little built- in mic had failed. I found a replacement while we were in Orlando and it seems to work. Got a response from seatow. Will do a range test on the bicycle later.
