    Motor mounts! On one of my trips we lost use of the motor when a sheet that was trailing the boat got wrapped around the prop shaft when we started it up. After 2 huge whumps, we went below and discovered the mess. We were already far offshore being pushed by a very strong northerly when this happened. Fortunately, nothing messed up any thru hull fittings and we had a Nantucket sleigh ride almost all the way to Key West. Watch those sheets!
