Obituary for my Maw Maw, Bobbie Ruth Smith Williams
Services for Bobbie Ruth Williams will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Friendship Baptist Church, Pollock, with Reverend Steve Speer, officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery, Pollock, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mrs. Williams, 79, of Pineville, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at The Oaks Care Center, Pineville.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was a loving, caring, and giving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Willard Williams; parents, T. J. & O. V. Smith; siblings, Willie Mae Woods, John Delton Smith, Tommie Jean Pope; grandson, Stephen Eric Pospisil.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, JoAnn Abbott, Jessie R. Williams, Liz Pospisil, Lisa White; siblings, W. T. Smith, Geraldine Boren, Alice Kate Kopp, Billie Joe Smith, Betty Lou Hart, Eddie Lee Smith; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Williams, Jason Abbott, Daniel Williams, Heath Pospisil, Cody Abbott, R. J. White, and Sean White. Honorary pallbearers will be Jennifer Wilkinson, Stephanie Robertson, Landon Robertson, Bella Robertson, Luke Abbott, and Kistler Pospisil.
