33′ Contest $15k – No engine!

Nice old man. He is a bachelor looking for a First Mate. Awwww. Really smelly boat. Steven and I spent about 15 minutes aboard this 33′ Contest. I could make a really bad pun right now but Steven advises against that idea. This boat has no working engine, has a tiller and really needs mass amounts of work on the interior and exterior. The cool thing though is that this dude was grandfathered in to the marina after they stopped allowing liveaboards many years ago. He lives in the heart of Clearwater Beach. The asking price is $15,000. It would be a struggle for me to want to pay $3,000.

Merry Christmas! Lighted boat parade tonight in Clearwater Beach. 6:30pm.

35′ C&C $30k

The boat was donated to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, as are many others. After being donated, the boats are sold and the money goes to fund the Aquarium. Pretty cool way to go about fundraising. The C&C was very clean, roomy and cozy. New cushions. Like new engine. Good autohelm. Nice galley. Nice cockpit. With a few extras such as batteries, coast guard package and a clean bilge this is hard to pass up. Steven and I are thinking of making an offer that would better fit our budget. Hey, it’s worth a try. It was so nice to finally go on a boat that was pretty much “all together.” I vote this Keeper Of The Day.
